John was seconded to Clinicenta from Carillion Health in 2005 to provide bid leadership and wider team support for the Wave 2 ISTC programme.
John has worked for Carillion Health for 4 years and brings a wealth of project management experience to the team.
For the last ten years he has been leading bids for various types of government procurement projects across Carillion. Since 2003 John has focused on healthcare projects and was Bid Manager on the Walsall Hospital PFI project, as well as leading the bid for the Churchill Hospital PFI project in Oxford.
In previous positions within Carillion John has gained significant experience of every stage of the procurement process, from project development to contract award, design & construction and mobilisation of delivery. In his role as Development Director for Carillion Private Finance he was responsible for identifying market opportunities and leading Carillion’s input into the relatively new sectors of Local Authority Schools, Further Education and Tolled Motorways in Ireland. He also project managed the Financial Close process on two of Carillion’s most prestigious projects, Nottingham Express Transit and the New Accommodation Project, Cheltenham.
