Since October 2006 Gillian has been seconded full-time from Carillion to Clinicenta Limited as HR Director. Her role within Clinicenta is to lead the HR agenda including setting HR strategy, developing HR policies and procedures, internal communications, defining terms and conditions, training and development and leading the recruitment of staff for various projects.
Gillian has been a key member of the bid teams for Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Beds and Herts ISTC and London North Elective Schemes. Her invaluable knowledge of the NHS, combined with extensive managerial experience provides a strong leader to evaluate and solve workforce issues on behalf of Clinicenta.
More recently, Gillian has implemented a comprehensive HR plan, working closely with partner and multi-stakeholder organisations to establish sourcing and recruiting directives, training issues and payroll services to mobilise audiology services in the South East of England.
Prior to joining Carillion in 1998, Gillian worked for 8 years within NHS Trusts both as a HR Generalist and as a Training & Development Manager. She has a wealth of experience in TUPE transferring staff and working with Retention of Employment Models, dealing with the change management issues that result in a change to service provision and working with differing terms and conditions of employment.
