Jan joined the Clinicenta team in April 2007 to help design, develop and manage high quality audiology services for Clinicenta based on the best practice.
She has held senior management positions in the NHS and the voluntary sector, she is registered with the Health Professions Council and has worked as a clinician throughout her career since 1984. Jan has been a Consultant Clinical Scientist in Audiology heading NHS audiology services, chaired her professional organisation and worked as a clinician in private practice.
Jan has held roles in the voluntary sector as Director of Policy and Research at the Royal National Institute for Deaf People helping to develop the modernisation of NHS hearing aid services and she has been a specialist advisor for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) representing the NDCS in the development of the national newborn hearing screening programme as well as developing quality standards for paediatric audiology and guidelines for working with deaf children under two years and their families.
