Iain joined Clinicenta in 2005 as Head of Business Services, bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge to the lead roles for Information services and management, supply chain management, and support to business case development.
Prior to joining Clinicenta, Iain worked within the Critical Care and Surgical Services at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, starting in 1995 as a finance manager, working at an operational level both in financial and general management. Iain progressed to Assistant Director of Commissioning and Performance Management, which included lead for the commissioning process, the annual costing and pricing process, and the annual Local Delivery Plan process. He was instrumental in the development of a corporate performance management reporting framework for the Trust and the implementation of payment by results.
During his time with the Trust, Iain also took the responsibilities of the overall management of the information department, ensuring that all mandatory reporting was delivered, and the co-ordination of the annual capacity planning process, which included waiting list planning.
